Invisalign?
Invisalign are custom-made clear plastic aligners created specifically for you, that slide right over your teeth and gradually move your teeth into the exact position your dentist has outlined for you.
You will need to wear these aligners all day, and only remove them to eat or brush and floss your teeth. These comfortable aligners will be changed approximately every two weeks, gradually making the changes you desire in each stage. The total number of stages will depend on the changes necessary. Over the course of about a year to a year and a half, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite foods and maintain your normal lifestyle while your teeth align perfectly.

of getting Invisalign?
Getting Started with Invisalign
When you come to Toothville Family Dentistry, we’ll do an examination to understand what your objectives are in being fitted for Invisalign. We will talk with you about your goals and the overall Invisalign process, and your dentist will come up with a treatment plan. Three-dimensional digital images are taken using our iTero digital scanner of the teeth. No longer do we take impressions via traditional gooey trays filled with cement. We are pleased to offer the iTero Element. With this state-of-the-art scanner, we can take highly accurate digital images of your teeth. Once we take the scans, they will be forwarded electronically to a lab that constructs a 3D model of your mouth for Invisalign® aligners. Offering iTero is one of the many ways we provide patients with the most up to date, comfortable, and effective technology available.
The
Invisalign Plan
Based on the treatment plan you have agreed upon with your dentist, custom-made clear aligners are created specifically for you. You will need to wear these aligners all day, and only remove them to eat or brush and floss your teeth.
During this process, we’ll have you stop in for an office visit regularly, to make sure everything is progressing well with achieving your best smile. The length of treatment will vary, depending on your starting point and your wear practices, but most patients complete their entire treatment in 9-15 months, with 18-30 aligners.
